That’s a great article that applies to life in general.

This is Proactive vs. Reactive.

A team that includes leadership and the whole team working together and each one is allowed to contribute what they know to improve the system before any problem is exposed and without always having to be told what needs to be done by leadership, while still being in agreement, will achieve greater results for less resources than a team that is only waiting aimlessly for the problem to appear and then always waiting to be told what to do by the leadership.
